About Us
Baobab is a bilingual (German / English) Montessori parents’ initiative. It was founded as a parents’ initiative in 1996 and is lead by a 4-person team:
- Denise McGrath, Montessori Teacher (England), Native language: English
- Zahra Lohr, Montessori Teacher (USA), Native language: English
- Hanako Keller, Montessori Teacher (England), Native language: German
- Carina Leyh, equated Teacher (Magister Artium in education and sociology), Montessori Teacher (Germany), Native language: German
The team is supported by a trainee or Federal Volunteer (changing yearly).
The parents are organised in the cooperative Baobab e.V.. The board members:
